In Monday's non-league match, the host Union Pines Vikings basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Jordan-Matthews Jets.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 13. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
