Florida High School Basketball - Manatee knocked off by Sarasota

The Sarasota Sailors basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Manatee Hurricanes to 43 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Sailors now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood Ranch for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Sarasota will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Braden River (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
The Hurricanes (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Winthrop College Prep Academy was outscored by Parrish Community (Parrish, FL), 49-36, in a non-league contest.
