The Ames Little Cyclones basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders to 32 in the Little Cyclones non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Little Cyclones now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waterloo East for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Ames will meet a Trojans team coming off a 91-59 non-league win over Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-3.
The Roughriders (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Ottumwa was outscored by Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA), 57-54, in a non-league contest.
