Harbor Pirates (Santa Cruz, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA), 56-21 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Harbor upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Gonzales (Gonzales, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Gonzales lost 48-26 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Hawks play the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars (Felton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Anzar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 77-38 non-league win over Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA).
