    The Argyle Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Cooper Cougars to 37 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

    The Eagles now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horn for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Argyle will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 44-40 non-league win over Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-7.

    The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region I District 4 contest with a 6-9 record.
