The Springtown Porcupines basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Azle Hornets to 41 in the Porcupines non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Porcupines now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gainesville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20.

The Hornets (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders enter the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 4-9 record.
