Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA), 65-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bastrop upgrades its record to 2-12 on the season. The Rams travel to Vidalia (Vidalia, LA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Vidalia won 61-42 in their recent non-league bout against Tensas (St. Joseph, LA)

Next up, the Chiefs play the St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. West Ouachita will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 64-48 non-league loss to Neville (Monroe, LA).
