Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA), 71-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grundy Center upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Spartans host East Marshall (Le Grand, IA) to play the Mustangs in a North Iowa Cedar - West bout on Friday, December 15. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Comets play the Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. BCLUW will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 76-49 league win over GMG (Garwin, IA).
