Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) and the host Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), saw Belton's basketball squad wallop Copperas Cove by a tally of 88-53.
With the victory, Belton improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wimberley (Wimberley, TX) to confront the Texans in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Texans come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Wimberley won 72-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Bastrop (Bastrop, TX)
Next up, the Bulldawgs confront the Weiss Wolves (Pflugerville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Copperas Cove will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 65-34 non-league loss to Keller (Keller, TX).
