    • Texas High School Basketball - Bishop Lynch can't hold off Byron Nelson

    The Byron Nelson Bobcat basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Bishop Lynch Friars to 66 in the Bobcat non-league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Bobcat now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Byron Nelson will battle a Trojans team coming off a 64-60 non-league loss to Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 2-10.

    The Friars (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX). The Lions enter the TAPPS 6A District 1 contest with a 8-7 record.
