Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX), 63-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brenham upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Cubs host Rudder (Bryan, TX) to play the Rangers in a 5A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, December 15. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Rudder won 77-39 in their recent non-league bout against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX)

Next up, the Rattlers play the Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Navasota will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 61-37 non-league loss to Salado (Salado, TX).
