The Brownfield Cubs basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Levelland Lobos to 50 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cubs now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Big Spring for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Brownfield will battle a Steers team coming off a 76-35 non-league loss to Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Steers record now stands at 7-7.
The Lobos (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Denver City (Denver City, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Denver City was routed by Liberty (Lubbock, TX), 55-45, in a non-league contest.
