With the victory, Wilkes Central improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to confront the Greyhounds in a 2A Foothills challenge on Friday, December 15. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. North Surry lost 81-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)

Next up, the Bears confront the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 81-46 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).
