Maryland High School Basketball - Douglass overwhelms Central

December 12, 2023: Upper Marlboro, MD 20772

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), saw Douglass's basketball squad wallop Central by a tally of 85-49.

With the victory, Douglass improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Surrattsville (Clinton, MD) to confront the Hornets in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 67-23 league win over College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD).
