Texas High School Basketball - North Forest knocked off by Chavez

The Chavez Lobos basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting North Forest Bulldogs to 52 in the Lobos non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lobos now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston Math Science & Tech for a 6A Region III District 18 contest on Friday, December 15. Chavez will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-46 non-league win over Scarborough (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-7.
The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Brazoswood (Clute, TX). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Brazoswood was defeated by Alvin (Alvin, TX), 49-39, in a non-league contest.
