In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) basketball squad edged the host Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL), by a count of 62-55.

The Maroons (9-0) will now prepare for their outing against Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Minutemen go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Lexington held off Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL), 83-20, in a non-league outing.

The Hawks now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Midwest Central for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15. Riverton will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 57-40 league loss to Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 1-8.
