Deer Antlers (Deer, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles (Mountain Home, AR), 87-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Deer upgrades its record to 2-11 on the season. The Antlers host Alpena (Alpena, AR) to clash with the Leopards in a 1A Region 1 East bout on Friday, December 15. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Alpena won 79-32 in their recent league bout against Mount Judea (Mount Judea, AR)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Lead Hill Tigers (Lead Hill, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Mountain Home Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 58-28 league win over Mount Judea (Mount Judea, AR).
