Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals (Calimesa, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Desert Chapel Eagles (Palm Springs, CA), 60-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mesa Grande Academy upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Cardinals host River Springs Charter School (Temecula, CA) to clash with the Centurions in a Tri-County Premier bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Centurions go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Joshua Springs Christian Lightning (Yucca Valley, CA) in a Victory bout, on Thursday, December 14. Desert Chapel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 65-9 league loss to Palm Valley (Rancho Mirage, CA).
