Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) and the visiting West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL), saw East Lawrence's basketball squad hold off West Limestone by a tally of 41-36.

With the victory, East Lawrence improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to West Morgan (Trinity, AL) to confront the Rebels in a 4A Area 13 challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. West Morgan won 67-58 in their recent league challenge against Good Hope (Cullman, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats (Huntsville, AL) in a 4A Area 15 challenge, on Friday, December 15. West Limestone will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 76-56 league loss to St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL).
