Maine High School Basketball - Edward Little can't hold off Mt. Blue

The Mt. Blue Cougars basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Edward Little Red Eddies to 49 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Messalonskee for a A North contest on Friday, December 15. Mt. Blue will battle a Eagles team coming off a 40-31 non-league win over Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
The Red Eddies (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Portland (Portland, ME). The Bulldogs enter the AA North contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Portland nudged Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME), 64-53, in a non-league contest.
