Ephrata Tigers (Ephrata, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shadle Park Highlanders (Spokane, WA), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ephrata upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Quincy (Quincy, WA) to clash with the Jackrabbits in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Quincy won 66-58 in their recent league bout against Cashmere (Cashmere, WA)

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Saturday, December 16. Shadle Park will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 59-43 league loss to Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA).
