The Lawrence County Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Fairview Eagles to 60 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prestonsburg for a District 58 contest on Friday, December 15. Lawrence County will battle a Blackcats team coming off a 87-66 non-league win over Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Blackcats record now stands at 4-2.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats come into the District 64 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Blazer prevailed over Pikeville (Pikeville, KY), 72-47, in a non-league contest.
