Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), saw Pocono Mountain East's basketball squad overcome Freedom by a tally of 60-51.

With the victory, Pocono Mountain East improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to William Allen (Allentown, PA) to confront the Canaries in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Canaries come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Easton Area Rovers (Easton, PA) in a Lehigh Valley challenge, on Friday, December 15. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Rovers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 43-36 non-league loss to Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA).
