The Goldthwaite Eagles basketball team (Goldthwaite, TX), was nudged 57-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bosqueville for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Valley Mills will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Llano (Llano, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Llano edged Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX), 52-33, in a non-league battle.
