Utah High School Basketball - Tintic overwhelmed by Green River

The Green River Pirates basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Tintic Miners to 47 in the Pirates non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Green River will battle a Badgers team coming off a 74-58 non-league win over Green River (Green River, UT). The Badgers record now stands at 3-4.

The Miners (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Altamont (Altamont, UT). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region 22 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Altamont was routed by Duchesne (Duchesne, UT), 60-48, in a non-league contest.
