The Greenville Comets basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Okawville Rockets to 29 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Staunton for a South Central match on Friday, December 15. Greenville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-37 non-league loss to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Okawville moves to 3-4 on the year. The Rockets host Sparta (Sparta, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a Cahokia - Illinois match on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 6-3. Sparta won 68-64 in their recent league match against Wesclin (Trenton, IL)
