The Grulla Gators basketball team (Rio Grande City, TX), was nudged 41-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX)
The Gladiators now possess a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mission for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Roma will confront a Eagles team coming off a 83-46 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.
The Gators (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against La Feria (La Feria, TX). The Lions come into the 4A Region IV District 32 battle with a 6-4 record.
