The Lakewood Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Harper Creek Beavers to 49 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eaton Rapids for a Capital Area - White contest on Friday, December 15. Lakewood will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-3.

The Beavers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Mounties enter the Interstate Eight contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Northwest ran past Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI), 74-54, in a non-league contest.
