The Highland Fighting Scots basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Gilead Indians to 38 in the Fighting Scots non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Fighting Scots now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby for a Mid-Ohio - Red contest on Friday, December 15. Highland will battle a Whippets team coming off a 81-43 league win over Galion (Galion, OH). The Whippets record now stands at 3-0.

The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, OH). The Blue Devils come into the Knox Morrow contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Danville dropped by Lucas (Lucas, OH), 70-46, in a non-league contest.
