The Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX) basketball felled the host Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX), 58-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Van Alstyne thwarted Commerce (Commerce, TX), 57-45, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Malakoff for a non-league test on Friday, December 15.
