With the win, KIPP Esperanza upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Eagles host East Palo Alto Academy (East Palo Alto, CA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. East Palo Alto Academy lost 62-36 in their recent league bout against KIPP San Jose Collegiate (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the El Primero Lobos (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 65-55 non-league loss to Kathleen MacDonald (San Jose, CA).
