    The Taylor Ducks basketball team (Taylor, TX), was overwhelmed 70-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Leander Lions (Leander, TX)

    The Lions now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Hill for a 5A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, December 19. Leander will battle a Panthers team coming off a 70-48 non-league win over Georgetown (Georgetown, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.

    The Ducks now hold a 4-11 record. They play next when they host St. Andrew's for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15. Taylor will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 77-45 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Austin, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-1.
