The Marshalltown Bobcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 43 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Dodge for a Central Iowa Metro - North bout on Friday, December 15. Marshalltown will play a Dodgers squad coming off a 74-53 non-league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Dodgers record now stands at 0-6.
Next up, the Railsplitters play the Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, December 15. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 57-54 non-league win over Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA).
