Lorain Titans (Lorain, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Steele Comets (Amherst, OH), 59-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lorain upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Titans travel to Shaw (East Cleveland, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Lake Erie bout on Friday, December 15. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Comets play the Midview Middies (Grafton, OH) in a Southwestern bout, on Friday, December 15. Steele will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Middies go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 36-27 non-league win over Orange (Pepper Pike, OH).
