The McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY), 71-63 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Marshals go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Marshall County went down by Murray (Murray, KY), 56-39, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cairo for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14. Mayfield will encounter a Pilots squad coming off a 70-37 non-league loss to Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL). The Pilots record now stands at 1-7.
