Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD), 58-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Battlers travel to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Northwestern Area lost 71-48 in their recent league bout against Wilmot (Wilmot, SD)

Next up, the Rustlers play the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Miller will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 56-53 league win over Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD).
