The Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) basketball nipped the host Poly Bears (Riverside, CA), 55-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Loyola (Los Angeles, CA). The Cubs go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Loyola was tipped by Jesuit (Carmichael, CA), 71-64, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host King for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Poly will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 79-76 non-league win over Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-7.
