Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Moon Area thwarts North Allegheny

The Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) basketball knocked off the host North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA), 76-62 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Pine-Richland notched a victory over Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA), 59-49, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Erie for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. North Allegheny will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 51-42 league win over Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Royals record now stands at 4-2.
