Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL), 98-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pecatonica upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Amboy (Amboy, IL) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Clippers come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Comets play the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Newman Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
