The Sibley East Wolverines basketball team scored 97 points and restricted the host Nicollet Raiders to 49 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a AA Section 2 contest on Friday, December 15. Sibley East will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-45 non-league win over Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
The Raiders (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Loyola/Kato (Mankato, MN). The come into the A Section 2 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Loyola/Kato was routed by Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN), 67-47, in a league contest.
