Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), 51-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ridge View upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA) to play the Falcons in a Western Valley - North bout on Friday, December 15. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Spartans play the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers (Bancroft, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. West Monona will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 75-72 non-league loss to Walthill (Walthill, NE).
