Texas High School Basketball - Weslaco ripped by United South

The United South Panthers basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Weslaco Panthers to 44 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmview for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. United South will meet a Lobos team coming off a 84-38 non-league win over Economedes (Edinburg, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 16-6.
The Panthers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Rattlers enter the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Rio Grande City triumphed over Zapata (Zapata, TX), 55-45, in a non-league contest.
