Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA), 69-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pocono Mountain West upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to West Scranton (Scranton, PA) to clash with the Invaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Invaders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Bethlehem Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Eagles go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 47-19 non-league win over East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA).
