The La Joya Community Fighting Lobos basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Casa Grande Cougars to 49 in the Fighting Lobos non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Fighting Lobos now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon View for a contest on Tuesday, December 19. La Joya Community will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 53-17 non-league loss to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Horizon was defeated by Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ), 62-61, in a league contest.
