Southeast of Saline Trojans (Gypsum, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Abilene Cowboys (Abilene, KS), 42-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southeast of Saline upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Trojans host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Hillsboro won 58-22 in their recent non-league bout against Inman (Inman, KS)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Concordia Panthers (Concordia, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Abilene will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 53-52 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, KS).
