New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia routs Albuquerque

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 72-39.

The Matadors (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Santa Fe was crushed by Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 40-14, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Chaparral for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15. Albuquerque will clash with a Lobos squad coming off a 48-31 non-league win over Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 2-2.
