Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), 55-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northgate upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Rancho Cotate won 46-36 in their recent league bout against Windsor (Windsor, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs meet the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Alhambra will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 52-11 non-league win over Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA).
