The South Fork Ponies basketball team (Kincaid, IL), dropped 48-40 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL)
The Trojans now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central for a Sangamo battle on Thursday, December 14. Auburn will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 69-14 non-league win over Midwest Central/Delavan (Manito, IL). The Bluejays record now stands at 10-0.
The Ponies (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Staunton (Staunton, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Staunton beat Vandalia (Vandalia, IL), 72-25, in a league battle.
