With the victory, Buckley improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to confront the Huskies in a Northwest challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Benzie Central won 45-42 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Cadillac Heritage Christian Patriots (Cadillac, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Grand Traverse Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 54-16 non-league loss to Leland (Leland, MI).
