Alabama High School Basketball - Locust Fork routs Cordova

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL), by a count of 69-30.

The Hornets (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cold Springs (Bremen, AL). The Eagles go into the 2A Area 11 outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Cold Springs smashed Southeastern (Remlap, AL), 86-27, in a league outing.

The Blue Devils now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Curry for a 4A Area 12 outing on Friday, December 15. Cordova will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 45-32 league loss to Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-6.
